Kobe Bryant scored 18 points and dished out 10 assists in his return from a two-game absence as the Lakers notched a 117-109 victory in Boston on Wednesday. Shaquille O'Neal had 28 points, Gary Payton added 20 and Kareem Rush 17.

We need Slava back too, cuz Cook is a joke.

This should be a win. Boston isn't a great team, even for an Eastern one, and I think after that horrible game in Utah, the Lakers will bounce back and play better. I know there's a lot of anger at the refs, but don't worry about them. As long as the Lakers play the way they're supposed to (and the refs don't throw out anyone for BS) the team will be fine.

Yeah, I hope Slava gets better and plays. Assuming Karl and Grant won't be in uniform, we need him to have a good game.

I expect Shaq to come out with a attitude and completely dominate this game. I also expect GP to be hot headed as well. This will be a big win for us.

what? Cook was one of the MAJOR reasons why we lost, every time he got the ball, he lost it. I am 100% sure that Slava could have done better.

sure, SLava lost ONE game, when someone got rebound over him and scored, but how many games did he win when everyone were injured? 3-4? What about Cook? Slava > Cook.

Good News: Karl and Koe expect to play before the road trip is over...and since Karl was planning on playing yesterday, who knows, he might return tomorrow.
