It's hard to look "hard" when your playing against Brand. It's not like Cook was supposed to outwork him.

He demolished Chris Mihm....

Ah, it would be nice if the Lakers could get high draft picks every once in a while, to land higher talented players... rather than the collection of all NBDL talent that currently fills the roster.

Technically we are tied with two teams for the 7th/8th spot.

Houston is a half a game ahead of us.

Memphis & Minny are tied with us for the two remaining spots... but its still rather early.

What's interesting is that the lakers are playing consistent basketball, win a couple lose a couple, but those teams are starting to put it together and are playing well now...

If you subtract the Golden State Warriors juggernaut....

Lamar Odom has stepped up in Kobe's absence to average 12 pts/game in which Kobe hasn't played in. (4 games)

Many thought it was Kobe that was preventing Odom from flourishing in this offense.... I don't think they were right? What do you think?

Against LAs front court every one has a carrier night. Don´t get too happy because the next game Kaman will be back to normal when he faces any team but the Lakers.

Brand is too fat for our skinny front court. We have the least pounds of weight in the league.

Some of my STATS OF THE NIGHT...

Clippers front court scored 63 pts
Lakers front court scored 23 pts

Odom & Mihm (our starting PF & C) had 9 rebounds.

Brunson & Maggette (their starting PG, and Maggette came off the bench) had 10 rebounds.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

BEST VIDEO EVER ... AND AND THE SECOND BEST.
