0.3 seconds. They will just throw it over and hope to catch it. We have to foul the bigman or Warrick. Warrick is 52% in the season.Lets hope we can get the stop

This is a shame,

I don't get to watch Lakers games often but I'm in LA visiting family and have watched this game, and it's been pitiful.

I don't want to hear about Lamar not being aggressive, Smush going cold, Sasha not shooting well or anything else. Kobe lost this game today, singlehandedly.

LA built its lead by attacking early and getting everyone involved. It was lovely, the team was energetic and the defensive intensity was high then...

Kobe got elbowed in the eye. Once that happened he went bezerk. Chuking up shot after shot after shot. Each of those MISSES gave Memphis more and more life. Enough life to win without Eddie Jones AND Shane Battier.

This loss stinks, it hurts and more than anything it officially ENDS whatever December momentum The Lakers had. Sorry to admit it guys but I can't see Wade or LeBron allowing a string of personal pride hurt thier team's chances to win. I'm beginnning to think that maybe we DON'T have the best perimeter player in the NBA on The Lakers anymore. I just don't know anymore.

This one is on you Kobe, you blew it.

Ahhh Christina with a jump hook.
How do I know Jesus loves me so much he doesn't want me working the whole weekend?

Don't believe those lies, son! The only lies worth believing are the ones in the Bible! Can I get an amen?

this is what happens when you only have one option on offense.

I wonder what Kobe will throw tonight? Maybe Lamar :man9:

ok this question is over now. We sucked. Mihm missed that last one and once again we come to conclusion if Kobe doesn´t make it, nobody else does and if Kobe trys it he can´t do it alone. Thats not a good thing for this team.
We missed easy FTs in the game. Damn Kobe missed critical FT, Gump and Odom missed too. Then we started weak in OT and the comeback failed. Its a pitty to kill the nice record but right now we are just back to be pathetic and I still say we are really terrible in Staples Center. I ust don´t get it. Jax also allowed Sasha to play Mighty Mouse at the end and the guy burried 2 big threes for Memphis because Sasha couldn´t play defense.
we lost because we were terrible.

Kobe blew it, Odom blew it, Smush blew it, and so on. The 2 bright spots were Mihm and George but it's quite obvious that until we can someone who can score besides Kobe, we will continue to lose games like these.

I got another question...what the blue hell was Kwame's problem?

ZERO....yes ZERO points.

0 points, 1 attempted shot, 4 TOs, 5 fouls, in 21 minutes. That right there baffles me.

First off, I gotta commend the Grizz for fighting through in this game, despite of the fact that the refs were delivering a home cooking for us.

However, I'm gonna have to put this loss on Kobe. Forget that Mihm missed the last shot. IMO, Kobe's flagrant late in the game is what turned the tide towards Memphis' favor and they just rode it through the end. Through, he kept us through late in OT, but we wouldn't have been there in the first place had he played much smarter late in the fourth.

On another note, I don't blame him either for putting up low percentage shots when it seemed like nobody else couldn't make a basket in the 2nd half.

For me though this was a tough loss to swallow. I don't get to watch many Lakers games up here in Canada. And when I do, I have to stay up late and wake up early tomorrow for work. To watch them "choke" at the end is just frustrating, disappointing, and depressing. The team still lacks a killer instinct to put teams away. And outside of Kobe, we still don't have a consistent 2nd option.

Right now, I'm really hoping that Artest/Rose rumor goes through.
