You gotta be able to identify the reason we're winning. And Kwame, while he has been a contributor, has not been the main reason. And believe it or not, we have a problem of too many bigs right now. We have to trade one of them for a high-caliber SF eventually, and Artest is as good as any.

Go back and read this entire thread. It's proven after this game that Odom is a PF. Trade Kwame, have Artest lock down Miller, and we might have had a blowout in the first quarter.

Uhh, if you're implying that we could trade Kwame and George + other scrubs for Artest than you're crazy. Would never happen and I wouldn't trade LO at this point.

While I agree that having Artest instead of Kwame this game would make us even more dominant... you can't be serious with some of these posts you make.

My post referenced directly to a Kwame trade, not an Odom trade. You MISREAD it and now you changed it back, and you say I can't be serious? You gotta be kidding me.

Having Artest would make us way better, I don't doubt. But not with what we'd have to sacrifice for him. Sides, everytime he'd have a bad game which he does more often than any other superstar it seems, well, everyone would want to trade him.

He's not MJ, or some kind of god. Artest is Artest, get over it people. He's very good but not worth trading what we have for. Geez.

What a great TEAM effortt! we started early with team defense and attacking the hoop!

Off the top of my head at this moment, I can recall he did it twice this game, one a turnover in the first half due to three guys surrounding him(but he couldn't get the shot off anyway). The other to a wide open Smush in the corner, so obviously he hasn't "learned" as you thought.

If there's a gap, and he attacks and jumped to take the shot, but if the help defender is there, he will continue to do it, and with good reason. I mean, almost every time he does that, there's a wide open shot.

i for one, have no desire whatsoever for the lakers to get ron artest. the reason this team is winning games is because of CHEMISTRY. i think, in the long run, this team would be worse with artest. he wants to shoot more, how could that help this team? we dont need more players who want to shoot. i say stick with what we have (unless any GOOD opportunities present themselves), give them a year to play together, and then in the offseason make some minor moves.

Dude, for the tenth time, when Kobe goes up to shoot but finds someone open and passes it instead, that's a good thing. I agree, because it's called a FAKE. He leaves his teammate wide open.

But this doesn't mean that Kobe should jump everytime he passes. He should do it as least as possible, the less he does it the better his 'jump to shoot but pass the ball instead fake' will work. It will work more often if he doesn't overuse it. It's like Kobe's pump fake, it used to work real well but Kobe's been using it too much. The result, his opponent doesn't fall for it as much as they used to in general.
