WE surely stunk that quarter up...then again, Memphis was better than that and stunk up the first half and now they're retaliating against us...we need better effort out of our guys

Lakers 71
Memphis 84

Well at least my predictions are accurate :man1: but we didn't have to lose a big lead like that...I mean, come on, Udoka's now in the game with a little over 3 left in the fourth and D. Fish is like 2-12 from the field...sigh...we can't have players that can't shoot, collectively as a team we're shooting 34%, and it's not the Grizzly defense, I doubt that...we just can't shoot it tonight...

CHALK THIS one up as a LOSS

Final

A flurry of points in the last couple of minutes was just a little to late.

9 pts in the first 9 min
11 in the last 3

against the Mavs? Well stranger things have happened, the Jailblazers (worst road team) beat the Queens (best home team) yesterday.

yea seriously u are very right about that...that was pretty weird and i forgot tha blazers were tha worst road team...but thas almost hard to believe the blazers are tha worst...u would think they would be one of tha better teams on tha road much like minny...but i guess not

i REALLY hope we beat tha mavs tho...it would be somethin to watch while everyone is havin a good time at my party too...imagine everyone in tha room watchin tha game sippin on some buds and chillen and then payton hits a game winner and we all go crazy....man that would be tha shieeet

This is all too familiar, a good first half and a bad second. The Lakers settled for jump shots and didn't make too many of them. If they beat the Mavs it'll be great but I doubt it. And Sampson being out also, how much worse can our luck get? It's hard being a Lakers fan right now. :man5:

here is who impressed me tonight:
GP-24 points & 6 rebounds
Cook-12 points and 10 boards
Russell-10 points in 22 minutes
Slava-12 & 12

everyone else disappointed me:
Rush-only 5 points
George-8 points, 4-12 from the field
Fisher-now this is nasty...9 points, but 2-12 shooting
Ime-5 minutes and nothing

we need to not play Fisher and George at all. They are playing horribly. There is no reason that George should start. And as far as FIsher goes, I would rather give the reserve pg minutes to Walton

Tonight's Comparison:
George: 8 points, 4-12 from the field, played 34 minutes
Russell: 10 points, 4-9 from the field, played 22 minutes

Even a blind man could see George doesn't deserve to start any more

I say put both Fish and Dev on the injure reserve. Reason 3rd degree rupture of offensive game and 1st degree tear of defensive. will require extensive surgery.
