Wed. 11/3 @ Jazz - Results Inside - Postgame comments

Looking at the stats it seems like the SOLE reason we are losing this game is the inability of guys to knock down shots. That may seem obvious to some but i never thoght guys not being able to put the ball in the hole would be problem for the lakers.

I don't expect the team to play this bad ever again. The Spurs game on Friday should be motivation enough.

iono wats gona happen on friday, today boozer n the frontline ruled the lakers. The lakers gotta work the ball well on friday, have people other than kobe score, and at least try to hold duncan under 20-10

What's sad is Kobe has as many field goals as the rest of the team, and he's taken 20+ fewer shots!

Kobe has more than 50% of the team's points. That is not good. Kobe is man all by himself tonight.

Yes but nobody else is productive, he has the right to be a man all by himself tonight. No one else is productive...

This is what will hurt us, no doubt.

I wasnt implying he didnt have to be man tonight, I was more along the lines of where the hell are the other guys. This team cant afford to take days off.

I say we trade George and Rush for Harpring, if they don't accept the trade, threaten to move Malone's statue to LA. And tell them that we will give Mitch the number of their GM and he will talk him to death, about what a boring life he leads.

Kobe WILL be the high scorer in games where the Lakers struggle like this. I've said it before, and even Bill Walton mentioned it today. It's because he'll be trying to lead a comeback, which he's the absolute best at. But unfortunately it will give ammo to the Kobe critics criticism that Kobe will score a lot and the Lakers will lose.

Normally rest of Lakers would score 60-70 % points and Kobe 30-40%!

Jazz have demolished the Laers in the assist department. You hav to wonder if their rotation is that good or we really are shooting THAT bad.

i know seriously, this years gona test a lotta fans patience. This is a young team yet to find a clear personality besides what kobe can do. It will take time, but hopefully by the playoffs, the team creates a clear identity

he doesnt wants to do that himself.....if his teammates could do thing like what they did yesterday, kobe'll never take that much shot, because of the lakers' poor FG and poor D...kobe has no chioce...

Some of both. 7 blocks by AK. Just him.

It's only one game but Rudy T ought to burn this statement to the teams' heads: "YOU CAN'T WIN GAMES ON 5 TOTAL ASSISTS!!!"

We need 3 things on this team...rebounding, a flat out shooter, and a PG.

I am willing to trade Atkins for a Pierce sweatband and we can sign a free agent PG.

I like the Rush and George for harpring idea.

And Rodman is still available for rebounding.

Nobody besides Kobe did anything tonight. Odom made a few good plays but then countered them with stupid defensive plays. Utah COMPLETELY outhustled and out played us tonight. Too many looseballs went their way. Every time the Lakers made a basket, there would be a foul, illegal defense, OR, 3point play.... Utah hit almost all of their open jumpers while the Lakers couldn't hit anything at all. Terrible overall game. Good job by the Jazz. Kirilenko dominated the defensive end.

Down by 26...

One of the worst Laker losses I can recall. Absolutely pathetic.

Odom, Butler, Mihm... Atkins. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
