I'm not so sure. For whatever reason, Portland has always played us tough at their place (like Charlotte has at theirs). We did win there last season, but that was when Roy was out (and to be fair, so was Kobe). That's why I'm predicting a loss, but I hope I have to eat crow when the game is over.

I'd like to add that I'm confused as to whether this game is on ESPN or not. My UVerse guide says it's on ESPN, but the ESPN website schedule says the Clippers/Hornets game is on. Did the Laker game get replaced by the freakin' Clippers? Are they that into the Blake Griffin hype? Lakers/Blazers games are always good, dumb move by them if they switched what they're showing.

I had no clue these guys are actually the 5 seed in the West with all their health problems!

This is going to be a tough game and Phil Jackson's "40 (wins) before 20 (losses) equals an elite team" will be on the line tonight.

He can't be 100% and probably won't play a lot of minutes, you think? Having both knees injured and operated on is a lot of rehab... I thought the record was 9 straight loses up there, that's what Stu said last night, but you said they won there last year... don't remember that one...

Which is why I said it might be a blessing in disguise that Roy is playing.
