Well, that didn't take long. From down 3 a couple minutes ago to out of reach. :disagree:

13-0 to end the quarter...seems to happen quite often against portland in their building. Always a tough game for us.

Game.

Too bad. Dwight and Kobe played well... Metta was better. Pau sucked. The bench was horrific. And Nash got injured again.

We had a chance to make a comeback when down three, but after the 13-0 run by Portland I don't see how we'll overcome the deficit in one quarter especially without Nash out there.

I honestly think this team doesn't pay attention in practice or doesn't read scouting reports or just isn't working hard enough. The types of mistakes they make are just so inexcusable and basic, and they make them so often. Couple that with the d-league rejects caliber jump shooting, even on open shots... It's like they've bought into their own hype of how good they are supposed to be without actually taking the time to be that good. Dallas and now Portland have played with confidence, with no fear, with no reason to doubt their superiority and it shows. LA plays like they are figuring out how to play the game as they go.

John Hollinger saying we'd be 4th in the West isn't looking so dumb right now.

Defense has little if anything to do with individual talent..... it's about trust, knowing each other effort and reps....

Right now Pau and Howard have none of that..... the perimeter players are picking up where they left off last year..... Ole and hoping for the mythical "Anchor"...
