I don't know about the offense. They got work to do if they wanna score 100 tonight. On the flip side, they look like they'll be giving up at least 110, probably more.

Might be a little generous. :man10:

Yeah I said that during one of the preseason blowouts and I got laughed at here. I didn't really appreciate that. I know I was exaggerating because I was angry, but we looked like garbage and we don't look an enormous amount better.

It's still a pretty laughable prediction. It's gonna take some time for the chemistry to get to where it needs to be, but eventually this team will be damn new unbeatable. No way they finish 4th in the West.

What's sad is that our offense looks EXACTLY the same as it did last year. Stupid.

13-0 run by them to close the 3rd did it. We had 4 bench guys during most of it.

Artest had the box out there and his 1/2 vertical still lost the rebound.

Well, it's only been two games (one is still ongoing). I believe a 10 game sample will be more appropriate to read where we're at as a team. As of now we look very capable offensively, but defensively we're a mess. Mike Brown is supposed to be have a great defensive mind yet our team looks terrible.

But that's the thing. How could anyone who watched the preseason expect anything other than these losses. We looked terrible and we continue to be. There's no excuse for it, either. The coaching staff either doesn't have these guys prepared (they don't), and/or the players aren't playing for these guys.

I don't need to see another ten games. But if this continues I don't think the Lakers FO will either.

Yeah, that's my take on it as well. Back when the Kobe-Gasol era started, teams rightfully respected/feared the Lakers in a bit, they knew that a game against the Lakers was going to be a challenge before it started. Today, no team fears us, everyone knows our vulnerabilities and incomplete aspects.

Lol no it doesn't, at all. It may be ineffective from time to time as they pick it up, but it's extremely different in many ways.
