1) Why don't we show glimpses of progress? Like, to me, with these guys, needing to gel means we click for a quarter but can't keep it going and over time you figure out how to keep it going. But we never show glimpses of anything on any end of the floor. We have nothing to "hang our hat on" if you will. And what I mean by that is the D'Antoni Suns for instance, always had offense to rely on and just had to work on defense (but never could). What is our identity? We're ... nothing. Blank.
2) Where is the emotion from the players? Great, Kobe picked up a T, but all game against Dallas and I am guessing Portland too I don't see players even early on... getting IN to the game. Why? Why aren't they as ... thrilled as we are for the season to get rolling? When we have Karl and Gary and Shaq and Kobe we didn't go through this.
Wasn't Mike Brown's #1 principle coming in Defense? Doesn't really line up...it's worse than before I can't stand his rotations

"Basketball, unlike football with its prescribed routes, is an improvisational game, similar to jazz. If someone drops a note, someone else must step into the vacuum and drive the beat that sustains the team."
