So basically Brown's plan is to kill the starters one week into the season. Good thing Nash left the game.

He was limping...probably re-aggravated something...

I'm probably the last person to give you a coherent diagnosis right now.

I'm sure Nash is fine, he just didn't want to risk Brown playing him 40+ min.

I was trying to get everyone to make this trend a while ago! But everyone ignored me, and the moderators shut me down saying it was too early in the season. Can we please get this guy fired now!?!

i have hated his hiring since the moment it was announced. the man is a fraud.

I have to admit he had me fooled at first. Since he had that rep of being a defensive coach, I finally thought we'd be a top defense but sadly I was TRICKED! F that potato headed con man!

The starters should have been taken out with like 6 minutes left, game was over.

@daldridgetnt

Wow. Already seeing #FireMikeBrown hashtags. Two games, people. Two horrible ones, to be sure, but just two games.

Yeah, are you forgetting the preseason you dumb idiot!? There has been no progression! NONE.

Well.... the front office may be complicit as well. Difficult as that may be to believe with our offseason but we've got a bunch of crap on the bench..... the steaming variety....

Well silver lining is there is nowhere to go but up. Honestly we just need one win and we will start racking them up. Let us try keep some positive thoughts. If this was late in the season I would understand, but we are still 2 games in and we lost because of things we can easily fix like turnovers. We can and will get much better.

The only positive thing is the FireMikeBrown chants are growing louder and louder and don't be surprised if it trickles down to the CROWDS at Lakers Games...I could easily see this get out of hand if we continue to lose. I think we start 0-3 with a FOR SURE loss coming Friday against the Clippers...as we watch Crawford and Bledsoe absolutely KILL Blake and Duhon....

I don't know.

Even being learning a new offence, a team with so much talent had to win at least one game out of 9!!!

The worst part is that the games are not even close. They've been almost all of them blow outs or close. And this while playing average teams.

The Lakers have 3 main problems:

- Athleticism & Youth:

Say whatever you want but the only athlete we have in the starters is Dwight. Kobe is 34 and he can´t play for 40 minutes and carry everything like he used to since Shaq left. He can still be a top 10 player with serious help around him.

Today's NBA is full of monster athletes. 6'7 - 6'8 - 6.9 that can run, jump and shoot. How can we beat that? With a slow Gasol? A old Nash? Ageing Kobe?

Not a chance.

- System:

Seriously. There are things i can't understand. I know i am a "couch" fan like millions others but i find it hard to understand the reason why the chose the "Princeton" flopence.

When you have 2 new key players in your starting 5 and your 3 main bench players are also new guys (Meeks, Jamieson and Hill), why on earth would you try to establish one of the most uncommon and complex offence???

WHY??

Wouldn't it be better to start with a regular and traditional system that Nash and Kobe could easily run and then, with time, try to implement new things??

I think that if Brown had at least 2 brain cells, he would've had done that. Get some normal wins, get into a rhythm while the players start to know themselves better and go from that.

Instead of it, we will collect a bunch of loses until (AND IF!) things start to work better. These losses are a very bad thing because frustration can start to get the best out of the players. Kobe may start to try to fiz it all by himself, Howard may start consider moving at the end of the season, World Peace might have one of his episodes at any moment due to the nerves of the situation etc.

- Bench:

The bench isn't better than last year. This is the simple truth.

Jamieson is OK has a "go to" guy in bad teams because they will not ask him to defend so much. Hill is interesting but come on, he suck at free throws and we can't count him as a serious help to get points.

And what about Barnes? He was our best bench player last year. What did we do? We gave him to the Clippers.

Can we seriously think that we can compete when our bench is one of the worst in the league (if not the worst) and our starters can't play much more than 30 minutes???

_________________________________

That being said, my opinion is that the LAKERS only have one option:

FORGET THE PRINCETON OFFENCE NOW!!

If Brown keep this idea, we will keep losing and risk having such a bad run that the play-offs can be an unreachable objective.

This is crystal clear. If we keep losing, the players will lose their calm and trouble will be on the way.

Looking how easy the (average) teams have been beating us and, more than that, HOW BAD WE PLAY, i think i am NOT overthinking this.
