There are a ton of players on other teams that we despise. For the life of me, I can't think of one on the Orlando Magic...

i get down on the Lakers but it's because they are playing the way they should... i agree. it's not about how many points we put up or win by. we played right tonight for the most part. as a team and we had great activity, not just standing around.

this is a great win. we need to stop being lazy and expecting to win.

I can not believe some of you guys were calling the season over, and saying we were done. It's okay to get frustrated but to give up on your team is not right. We won the game support the team and stop throwing in the towel so effin quick.

It's a calculated guess based on how the team has played in.... 1) The previous series 2) this game 3) last game in Denver 4) how Denver has played at home.

If the Lakers are to win game 6, then they are championship material. Friday's game is the one I care about. I said that two days ago...

I was too nervous to post during the fourth so now I wanna make some comments:

It wasn't necessarily a dirty play but it was completely ridiculous that Carmello didn't get called for a flagrant. If we ended up losing a close game, that would've been huge.

Odom showed today, again, that he's a freakin' warrior. He missed 2 free throws that could've been huge but he had a HUGE game.

Our defense (shotblocking at least) was amazing.

Favorite part of the game: We put that punk Bird on a poster. TWICE!

This Denver team is shot block happy. I was glad to see our bigs give a pump fakes and switches. It kept their D on the floor or confused.

OH MY EFFING GOD!!! What a great gutcheck in the 4th quarter. Granted, they missed some easy shots, but our D stepped up, got the JOB DONE on offense, made most of our FT's and we go back to Denver up 3-2.. Shannon Brown is my new MF'ing IDOL!!!

Damn, damn, damn... Getting hammered on a hump day doesn't suck..

Series is not over, but Lakers really looked good down the line this game. Looked like the best team in Basketball for a while out there. Kobe did an excellent job facilitating and holding sway over the Denver defense. Gasol and Odom both showed up in a big way, and even though he got hit with some early fouls and missed some easy shots, Bynum had a spring to his step that we haven't seen much of lately. All around, a very solid win.

Closing it out in Denver will be a very tough challenge, but I think we can do it.

I won't call them bandwagoners, I'm going to call them spoiled. The one's who kept saying "It's over, we're done, and talking about the offseason. The overexaggerating fans. Then when we win here they come. It's great to be frustrated with some of the team efforts but when you start throwing them under I think that's absolutely ridiculous and foul.

Agreed... the only thing this Lakers team has proven this season is that they go UP and DOWN...

if they lose game 6, then it will only prove that they are still fragile. A win in game 6, on the other hand, will make a huge statement. Mental toughness and aggressiveness required for a ring.

I don't say this often but I totally agree with you.

The way we played tonight will NOT get it done in Denver. Not even close. The odds are against us BUT if we're a real championship team, we will defy the odds and bring our A game to finish it off on Friday. All post season, we've had chances to show we're a championship team. Game 4 last series, Game 6 last series, and Game 4 this series. All 3 weren't necessarily "must wins" but we didn't come out with the killer instincts that champions have. Now is our opportunity.
