I think Atlanta is overrated. They are 34-29 or something like that and they have lost recently at home to the likes of Kings or Hornets.

I definitely think we can win this one, we played well today for the most part.

No Zaza tonight, so that'll definitely help. Though we've had some struggles at Phillips Arena (most of which I've been on hand to see), I have us winning this one with a second half comeback. Mainly worried about their speedy PGs.

I fully expect the momentum to keep building with an eight point win.

Atlanta has lost 6 of the last 7 games. Lakers are 9-2 in their last 11....

Momentum is definitely on our side. Can we easily stink it up? yes. But the players will have to be kept accountable for it. They should play with the right mindset. The playoffs are far from safe. B2B losses and we are left with 15 games needing to win 3 more than Utah...not a great situation.

I'll be bullish on this one. Single digit W.

I'm guessing that Phillips Arena will be teeming with Laker fans. Hawks are in a funk right now with Teague and Pachulia doubtful. It is a game to be had. Let's see the boys take advantage of it.

Need to focus on the guards. If Smith and Horford get some points, so what. It is Teague, Harris, and Korver we need to lock down and force into bad situations. That will slow down their transition and force Smith to try to do too much.

Must not give up too many second chance points. Score 100 points and we win this.

BTW the Lakers have yet to win b2b games. So far the best they could do this season is split.

QUICK PREVIEW
Lakers (34-31) at Hawks (34-29)
7:30 PM EST

LAKERS
Won last 4
12-20 on the road
16-10 vs. East

PROBABLE STARTERS
Steve Nash 12.4 points, 6.7 assists, 2.8 rebounds
Kobe Bryant 27.4 points, 5.8 assists, 5.5 rebounds
Metta World Peace 12.6 points, 1.4 assists, 5.2 rebounds
Earl Clark 8.0 points, 1.1 assists, 6.1 rebounds
Dwight Howard 16.5 points, 1.4 assists, 12.4 rebounds

HAWKS
Lost last 3
19-11 at home
13-12 vs. West

PROBABLE STARTERS
Jeff Teague 14.5 points, 7.0 assists, 2.3 rebounds
DeShawn Stevenson 5.5 points, 1.0 assists, 2.2 rebounds
Josh Smith 17.2 points, 4.2 assists, 8.5 rebounds
Anthony Tolliver 3.7 points, 0.5 assists, 2.3 rebounds
Al Horford 17.3 points, 3.2 assists, 10.0 rebounds

PREDICTION
When the Lakers and Hawks met on March 3rd, the Hawks almost gave more than the Lakers could handle. They blocked eight shots, picked up 13 steals, and forced 21 TOs. They nearly won, too.

LA is 4-1 since then, while the Hawks have gone 1-4. Zaza Pachulia is out for Atlanta, and Jeff Teague might be out as well. If this game were in LA, I'd call it a comfortable win for the Lakers. In Atlanta, and facing question marks about starters, the Hawks get the narrow nod.

Lakers 96
Hawks 98

I'm already starting to get nervous for this game. I think in large part because I'm excited.

We're getting closer and closer to that time of year again when all the games start to matter more and more.

Let's Go Lakers :jam2:

Wow!! Talk about getting lucky. I hope that they don't take them lightly and let scrubs get confidence and get hot, like with the Suns, Rapters, Bobcats, and Hornets (even though we came from way down against the Bobcats (at home) and Pelicans to win.

They should be very methodical. Play with an edge. Get a lead, run the offense, and just execute.

They only need to focus on Horford, Korver, and Harris. Let's go....and hope the Jazz lose tonight too.

Clark will be fine.

Now, we have to win this game, we're clearly better.
