what a fitting ending...ariza gets stripped by fisher, artest picks up the steal, and its a ball game.

Considering we came off an OT win last night, I'm happy with this win, but we made TOO many mistakes. This shouldnt have even gone to OT...

So Fish finishes the game with:

0 Points
0 Rebounds
0 Assists

But ends up with the game winning steal. :man11:

Fish still needs to go/get demoted. I love the guy, but hell... he's done.

Guess it time for the Cockroaches to go back and hide under their rocks
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

Whoo! by the grit of there teeth. The Rockets are a scrappy bunch, but at this rate I will not survive the season. Our starters are burning themselves out way too early in the season. Fish is playing too much and we are relying on Kobe too much. Those guys need to save their legs, but we seem to have no choice.

Nope... He just needs to be paced, given his age. The real liabilities are the backup points.

ditto.

i could care less about his stats now. Coming up in the clutch is just what fish does, and getting back to back overtime road wins without your all star powerforward is GREAT! :jam2:

Not before the WMC thread.
Pau Gasol yesterday morning when asked about Dwight Howard: "I haven't called. Calls are expensive."

We need Gasol ASAP. It's just not the same without him. He'd own in this game.

6'6 Chuch Hayes: 14 rebounds.

But we won. At least Drew got 17 boards.

If Drew misses time with that elbow injury, we're really screwed unless Pau comes back ASAP.

Watch the actual game and spend less time in the Gameday thread...only advice I can offer. The leftymos of the world want you to care what they think, just choose not to.

Great game....I'm still sad Trevor had to go. He's really growing as a player...and I think he will do well on the Rockets. When Yao comes back, they might be the second best team in the West. You could argue that they are pretty damn good without him though.

I had to watch the Rockets feed, and both Clyde and Bill Worrell were getting on my nerves bigtime. While they're homerism isn't Portland level, and Clyde gives his props to Kobe, they were arguing every call that went against the Rockets.

I'm honestly in favor of sitting him. The only difference is it's not a january game. I haven't seen the schedule, but if we play the Grizz in January, BYNUM MUST SIT
