Is Kobe playing, that is the first question...

Utah has won 8 straight and we are probably without Kobe.

And without Drew and maybe even without Lamar...

Lamar is the man of steel...Odom our NY Legend will come out and flat out dominate this game...No ailing foot could take him or Boozer for that matter. Odom with his all around game will be too much for the out of tuned Jazz

Drew's absence won't be that bad since Odom usually plays well against the Jazz. However, if he's out too, then it'll take a really determined Lakers to pull off a victory.

I have been listening to ESPN 710 radio with Michael Thompson and Andrias Siciliano and they just reported that Phil talked to the media at Lakers Shootaround in Utah this morning and he said that he doesn't think Kobe is going to play being that he didn't attend shootaround.

So it's not for certain yet, but it looks more and more like Kobe is going to sit out, which is really the best.

If we win, that's 3 straight wins without Kobe and Drew and lots of momentium heading into the All-Star break. If we lose, well we can toss it up as not having Kobe and that the Utah team is just too hot right now.

Yeah, just heard the same thing on FSR from Vic the effing Brick.. Kobe needs to just get that rest, do some cameo stuff (or not play at all) for AS weekend and get back at it next week.. Rather him rest up now than have that damn ankle linger all season long and potentially hamper the playoff run.. Maybe it's asking too much to win in Utah too even after the last two games? We'll see, tough place to play no matter if Kobe's there or not .. But regardless, I'll be trying to find a good online stream at 6pm sharp..

Utah played last night but will get an energy boost from the home crowd. I would love to see Farmar and Sasha and Shannon run, player aggressively, and hit shots, but on the road, probably the loudest and toughest place to play in the NBA, I just don't see the role players stepping up in just a hostile environment, including Gasol.

I expect a double digit lead for the Jazz by half. Too bad. Didn't we lost to them right before the break last year too? Or right after?

WOW, they just called us the World Champion Clippers. Yes, I know the utah announcers did it on accident but come on now!!!!

Also Matt Harpring is gonna be one of their announcers tonight, which is gonna stink

I agree with what John Ireland and Michael Thompson said before the game. If the Lakers win tonight it will be the biggest win for the team thus far in the season.

Why am I like falling in love with our Kobe-less offense. We're actually taking shots within the offense instead of watching Kobe jack up off balance 30 footers. It's beautiful.
