Damn it!!! I still believe. Kobe's gonna have to pull a 2006 D-Wade and pray that the Mavs choke

I hear you, Dirk has shots in his repertoire which simply cannot be defended.

For whatever reason they don't seem focused, they don't seem to be able to execute at all, and they seem to have no pride as Dallas pounds them into submission.

I'm not sure if the Lakers can recover from this pitiful performance on their home court. It was a bad sign when they lost Game 1 after holding a 16 point lead, and losing a crucial must-win Game 2 is an even worse sign that likely spells the end of their quest to three-peat.

It's all mental and physical fatigue. They don't have it in them to do it again. Every other team wants desperately to put an end to our run. It was going to happen eventually. Losing two games at home sums it all up.

The problem is the 16 point lead was a fluke. Dallas had many unforced turnovers that the Lakers took full advantage of during that run, and as soon as Dallas got it together they easily tore apart the Lakers defense and stopped them with their zone on offense.

Dallas is just better than the Lakers from an execution standpoint, which used to be the Lakers strength for the past few seasons.

part of that 16 point lead was 4 points gifted from the mavs. retarded foul from terry, and technical on dirk.

Phil's unwillingness to call a timeout during that lead cutting period is coming back to bite us.

It sounds strange, but... maybe Barkley was right after all. Although I don't think it's because of his brilliant analytical mind. He says enough stupid $%^%$, so eventually... he had to be right?!

This team is too fat and comfortable distracted by Hollywood and living the high life... screw them and Phil is only a mentor... the team lost its fire and now they have to be totally humilated to try and overcome this adversity which is pretty tough not having at least one win... how sad... :man6:

part of that 16 point lead was 4 points gifted from the mavs. retarded foul from terry, and technical on dirk.

The 7 points at the beginning of the 3rd quarter were also gifted with unforced turnovers. So that's 11 out of the 16 point lead that was gifted to the Lakers, and when Dallas calmed down and turned it around, they proved they were the better team.

Well said!

Like I said if we win game 3 then anything could happen. We just need to take to it one game at a time.

I completely agree with you. If any team can come back after being down 0-2 it's the Lakers.
