Just to point out some history, out of the 26 times in NBA history that the visiting team won both games to start a playoff series, 23 times they went on to win the series.

At this point there is an 88.5% historical chance that Dallas wins the series. The odds are squarely against the Lakers, and judging by their performance the past two games, they are down for the count.

yea.......ok. I admire you two's belief but i've seen enough of this team's laziness, inconsistency, arrogance, and lackadascial play all season long to believe they'll come back from this huge hole........

Wow.wow.wow. Not giving up yet though. If they go down 3-0 then the fat lady can start singing. Until then, I'm gonna hope they have something left in the tank, some pride, anything and maybe reel off 4 in a row like the Heat did to the Mavs in 06. Looking like a pipe dream though.

The difference was the Heat lost the first two game on the road in Dallas, so they had their home court to propel them to victory. This is not the case with the Lakers, the have to go to Dallas and I can't see them winning both Games 3 and 4.

so glad i didn't blow a weeks pay to watch our team get rolled over by the Mavs at Staples. i can deal with a loss, but i can't deal with our team's lack of effort. that was pathetic.

It's been done before right? At least that gives me some hope or anything.

Win or lose, they gave us a great 3 years. For that, I'm thankful. :jam2:

Exactly it's more exciting and thrilling and I've had my fair share of anti-Laker peeps saying they're tired of seeing us vs. the Celtics in the finals well they've gotten their wish.

They have 0 chance of coming back. If they didn't even have the energy/ability to win one game at home, they have no chance in hell of winning both in Dallas (which is what it would take to win this series).

That and because playing in three straight Finals take it out of you. The Mavs are clearly more eager to take this series and we don't have the energy to keep up.
