Not sure why we don't throw a hard double at Dirk. Force a TO.

3 missed FTs already, nice.

Wide open three with 6 on the clock? nothing stupid about that.

Have we ever had a more timid and hesitant player on the squad than Steve Blake? Seriously, if he's terrified to play, let the D Leagure get some run. It's ridiculous.

Horrific start.

This will be the most glaring issue to address in the off-season, adding a couple players that can actually hit a perimeter shot. We are SO LACKING in that area, it's amazing we win as much as we do.

The annoying thing about that fourth quarter was that the Mavericks looked extremely comfortable, as though they were playing on their own home court.

Yeah, but his activity just looks like an overload of nerves out there.

We can't hit our outside shots. Dallas is hitting theirs.

In the big picture, interior scoring tends to win more than perimeter scoring, but I agree, the Lakers are terrible shooting the three( and long two, and guarding either most of the time) As much as shooting long balls doesn't tend to win championships, it is still a pretty vital tool to keep individual games in control, and the Lakers have a nasty habit of letting threes occur and then not being able to respond to them, which just means more work to get out of a hole once they're in it.
