the lakers = they were who we thought they were

phil jax is straight up tanking this series....horrible subs........shannon and blake shoulldnt play anymore....kobe and fich need to avg 48min the rest or series..........unbelieveble how garbage shannon and blake have become, and Pau is done, dude doesnt know how to keep himself in shape

LMFAO... but crying. So true. We had a great run: 3 straight trips to the Finals, 2 NBA titles. These guys are pretty exhausted. Im disappointed that they don't always play hard, but in the end I really appreciate this team for all they accomplished. I thank Pau too. He has failed us this year, but the victories he has given far outweigh the defeats. Hopefully he can get some rest and come back strong next year.

Do you think in the Mavs forums they have doomsday threads?

Farmer was horrendous. So is Blake swapping a scrub for a scrub hardly lost these games.

AT the 3rd qtr, the Mavs only scored 17, and the Lakers still managed to score less, 13.

Exactly. So maybe I should give up hope then. If there's any consolation to all this it looks like the Celtics are getting shown the door as well. So we'll still be only one championship behind them. That would kill me if they were to win. But Spurs, Celtics, and us -- out with the old, in with the new. Funny thing though, i thought a young upstart like OKC was going to be the death of us. Instead we're getting our butts kicked by another group of old guys.

barkely is bound to be right, he hates on us every season and now we finally fail so he's right.

We held Dallas to 42FG%. We shot 41FG% ourselves, so it's not like they had a way better shooting night. We also outrebounded Dallas both offensively and defensively. We also took care of the ball better and had less TO's.

So why did we lose by 12 points? 2 reasons. FT's and 3pt%. Dallas shot and made more 3's and they converted 6 more FT's.

I give Barkley zero credit. He's no prognosticator. The guy had the worst picks in the NCAA tournament. Eventually you'll get something right. It's 50/50 after all.

WTF happened to Artest? against NO he was probably the most consistent player. Now he cant hit anything.

Just got back from the game. That was an absolutely incredible experience, even though we lost. Glad we made the trip down. At the same time though, I'm SUPER pissed off at this team. It's been years since I've been this mad at the team. Thought the rest of the crowd was a rather quick to boo, I can't recall the last time I heard Staples boo this much.

That's what I was thinking too, and I might even go so far as to say the boos for Gasol were on Kwame level.
