Another must-win game 2, Lakers are bad for my heart.

Need a convincing win.

I'm sick and tired of the Lakers thinking they can just coast to a win. This is the second time we've dropped the first game. Now we face a must-win situation again. We'd better get our stuff together and win this game, then win at least one on the road (preferably two, but I doubt it) before coming back here. Forget about blowing anyone out with the way this sorry excuse of a team is playing.

ffs win you cocky complacent frustrating clowns. lose this game and you are pretty much kicking yourself out of the playoffs.

Yup, the Lakers will win. and will win by more than 5 points, maybe even 10 pts or more. Pau will be back. the bench will be back. They understand the situation, its a must win and they get it to 1-1, take out the mavs game 3 to make it 2-1, and a nailbiting game 4 (in which we WIN) to go up 3-1. We lose the next to get down to 3-2, and finish them in another tough one for 4-2 win.

Don't even care about this game, might as well not even watch it because if they don't win it the series is over. That's what situation you get put into when you blow extremely important Game 1s

Yeah, 0-2 is never a good position to be in, unless your team (RE: 2005-06 cHeat) is led by a "superstar" (D-Whistle) that even the slightest contact results into a foul, which sweeping the next 4 games is 99.99% guaranteed.

This is basically their game 7 on Wednesday. If they lose and go down 0-2 they might as start looking ahead for next season.

But like others have said on here, they just need a little scare for the rest of the Lakers except Kobe (because he's usually ready to play every night) and they'll take control of the series.

Flying down to LA to catch this one with my dad. Hope it's a good game!

Well, if they were complacent in stretches last night...they shouldn't be tomorrow night. At least I'm hoping that would be the case.

i know tonight's game is a win for sure. i'm not even tripping. but its game 3 and/or 4 i'm nervous about.

Tonight we find out if the Lakers really are serious about three-peating. If they make the proper adjustments they should win easily against a Dallas team that will relax as all road teams do if they win Game 1.

I'm hoping to see the Lakers run their offense and bust the zone with easy baskets, and for the Lakers to actually play defense and not allow Dallas to take uncontested jumpers and shoot nearly 50% for an entire game. I want to see the Lakers control the paint instead of Dallas, and for Kobe to take better shots in the flow of the offense much like Dirk.

A win here is critical, and the Lakers should be up for the task. The hard work comes in Dallas, where the Mavericks are entirely capable of winning both of their home games. I hope the Lakers do not relax assuming they win tonight's game, and I hope they give close to 100% every game from now on to send Phil off with one last title.

Get the ball inside. Force the Mavs to go inside.
