Beating the team that eliminated you in the playoffs is always sweet, but man what a terrible finish. A 7 point lead with less than a minute and you nearly choke away the lead unacceptable. Also our best player Kobe Bryant was awful tonight. He nearly cost us the game. Good win, but definitely nothing to get excited about especially considering we won the season series last season and obviously still lost to the Mavs in May.

We looked like LeBron shooting free throws in the 4th quarter.

Forget this disastrous closing of the game, forget kobe's awful performance, forget that we had a 14 pt lead and blew it, just add 1 to the W column and move on.
On to the next one. Dallas was without Odom and West, so I'm not sooo thrilled yet. If we beat OKC tomorrow, everyone healthy, in a back to back, on the road, then I'll say we are legit

first of all lakers sot 5 for 14 freethrows in the 4th quarter including 6 straight misses from freethrow line . so they didn t wanted to win huh ? . but lakers won anyway thanks to gasol and drew they played very good tonight. hopefully kobe will play much better then tonight because tommorrow we really need him to play better against the thunder to have a chance.
