Obviously someone missed the big fat Kobe Appreciation thread in Lakers Discussion.

We all love Kobe and what he has done for the franchise just like we loved Magic and what he did for the franchise, but you go over the top man.

It's not all about one player. It's about the team. It's why we have 16 titles.

Let me ask you this, if Kobe retired today would you still be a Lakers fan?

I have no problem with that, But I do have a problem with people cursing Kobe During games, Just because he missed a shot or lost a damn ball. there is no respect here for Kobe, that's what I'm talking about.

You think he didnt play well, OK, say he was not good, but to curse him? why? who are you? what did you do for the franchise? that's right, NADA. so show respect to the greatest laker ever.

Kobe Bryant is the greatest Laker ever.

Reason why it's pretty simple. Kobe played both ends of the court, Magic didn't.

Magic was obviously a better passer, Kobe as I just mentioned much better defensively, and much better offensively, they are about equal on the boards (Magic has averaged 2 more rebounds his career but he's about 3 inches taller he should), then you add in the fact that Kobe has tied him in rings and I think the conclusion is Kobe Bryant is a better basketball player than Magic Johnson.

Agree

And I'm willing to bet anything, that you two didn't watch Magic Johnson play. So how can you speak on who the better player is?

Oh, cool. So you are like 40 then? Don't you think that's a little too old to be stanning for another man? :man3:

What?

I honestly don't see what's wrong with saying Kobe > Magic.

Believe me I am not the only one who grew up idolizing/watching Magic do his thing that believes Kobe has surpassed him as a player.
