They don't really care about basketball that much.

yeah that's what I assumed... but wow, that arena is literally 70% empty. Or at least it seems that way. They can't sell tickets with LeBron/Wade/Bosh? Lower the price?

Nope, they can't sell the tickets. They will have to operate with a loss, unfortunately.

^ Not doubting you or anything, but do you have a source for more information? I'm curious to how Miami can afford to pay for 3 superstars without selling tickets. I wonder if they're (the Miami Heat franchise) on Forbes or something.

I usually don't like all these transition shots, especially the transition three's by Kobe.

But he made them.

Yep this is going to be a stat game...

I wonder if Odom and Gasol are having a competition tonight to see who can grab more rebounds with one hand...lol.
“This contract with Joel Anthony is a testament to the man who is second to none; who has worked hard and deserved this,” said Heat President Pat Riley. “We felt that what he has done over the last couple of years in developing his game, his body and his knowledge warrants this reward. If other NBA non-drafted free agents want a prototype to follow, Joel Anthony is that man."

I can't believe they tossed him. I almost wish he'd have knocked Stafford out on the way out of the building. That was a ridiculous ejection.
