Of the two rooks, he's gonna have the harder time making the transition to the NBA. Ebanks is long and athletic enough to be the "Ariza 2.0" LA is looking for and his outside shot can easily be improved through practice and repetition. Caracter as an undersized PF has his work cut out for him and he's gonna have to learn how to deal with guys who are taller than him. Dude should take a look at Carl Landry's game for some tips.

Sasha is getting very close to the "worst Laker of all-time" tag for me. I'm not sure he's dumber than Elden Campbell but it's gotta be close.

I don't get the hate. He played fairly solid D for the most part. 1-4 shooting ain't the end of the world. I'm sure if he had taken three times as many shots as Shannon did a good percentage of them would have gone down.

Just like Luke, as long as Sasha is getting paid like he is, he will get hate. I also thought he played well.

Agreed. I'd be more annoyed at the fact that Gasol split all of his FTs. What the hell was that all about?

The one thing that bugged me throughout the game was whenever the 2nd unit was on the floor Shannon and Sasha thought it was their job to bring the ball up the floor instead of Blake. Both made horrible decisions with the ball. Blake needs to tell them "Hey, I'm the PG. Give me the damn ball!!"

Good game by Matt. In 18 minutes, he had 8 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, a steal, and a block.
