SIMPLE logic here man. WHY DO they play the games then? if you think the lakers should steam roll through all the other teams in the league, then there is no need to play the game. you're confusing paper wins and e-wins over random chances which occur in all facets of life. when you understand this, you will know that every team in the nba has the capability of playing up to a certain level day in and day out. sometimes the lakers suck, and its unexpected, but it happens.

It's weird how we always go cold as a team, or get hot as a team.

Maybe if the Lakers had a coach instead of a Zen Master, this team would play better fundamental basketball. What if the coach said to the team, stop jacking up 3's if they not falling, and take the ball to the hoop. Do we have anyone who can penetrate?

Why? Because you said so? Elite teams have off nights. Whether it's energy or just missing shots or taking bad shots, or uncharacteristically missing FTs or the refs calling a tight/loose game or whatever, it happens. Again, your expectations are absurd and unrealistic.

They play the games to assert their dominance... every nba team does have a chance to win and great teams make sure those upset wins don't happen often like we allow them to. But we aren't a great team so I gess it should be expected doesn't mean we won't win a title just means we aren't great.. btw we are lucky to not be down like 30 right now
