What are you talking about "how will he counter it"? First off, Kobe sat out the first seven minutes of the 2nd quarter, that's one reason his FGA number was down. Secondly, Bryant had three assists in five minutes of play in the second quarter. The Lakers are doing what they need to do when they see the zone. Blake hit from deep twice and Murphy made a baseline cut for an easy layup. That's how "he'll counter it".

I wasn't suggesting he should counter it right now, it was a conceptual question.

Say the game is tied at 100, 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter. The opposing team goes to a zone defense. Will you really put the game in the hands of people other than Kobe, Pau or Drew (ok, maybe fisher too)?
I doubt those Blake 3s and Murphy layups occur during the last minutes of a close game (fatigue, pressure, better defense during crunch time).

That's what I mean by "counter it", how do you get the ball to your key guys in big possessions when the opposing team goes zone in this offense? I wasn't referring to just now.
"The first time I ever saw my uniform hanging in the locker I put it on right away, and it just felt like I was putting on golden armour. From that day forward, I just called it 'the golden armour', it just felt like there was something mystical and magical about it" - Kobe Bryant.

Rejected by Bynum. And Kobe coming back with a 19 point lead? Guess Brown isn't comfortable with the bench. They did take a couple questionable shots early in the clock. Might be a little early for garbage time.

Why Bynum don't get more touch. He should be 1st option with Kobe and Pau on the bench. Mike do something !!
