Please no letdowns!!!

This game will really be a reality-check as far as the maturity of this team is concerned.

They got 2 huge wins and now they'll be facing a struggling team they've handled twice already.

If they can come out and play tough D, then this could really be the beginning of something special

The clock has struck 12 on the Mile High City. The only thing that scares me about them is that they are absolutely desperate. They need a win in the WORST possible way. 1-4 under Michael Cooper....the fans are unhappy and they will be looking to take their anger out on Kobe. I hope he brings a good pair of ear plugs.
YES WE CAN.

one shy of the record.

they were one shy of the record in attempts and shots made.

also
expect that record to be broken, because rudy t's offense lives and dies by the 3, and after tonight's shooting i expect even more in the next game

Nope, despite shooting 19 percent in the first quarter, the Lakers got 31 points from Kobe Bryant and went on to make a team-record 16 3-pointers in a 105-96 victory over the reeling Minnesota Timberwolves.

wait where are you getting this from?

cuz espn.com's recap says:
Los Angeles went 16-for-35 from 3-point range, one short of the franchise record for both attempts and makes.
Sorry buddy, that must be for the road because the Lakers made 17 the day Kobe set the record 12.

Yes it was a road record. And check the official game recap for that information.

They better win this game. Considering Nuggets have a game on Tuesday against the Kings. So they will be tired.

We must win. I think the Nuggets are going to improve the next weeks and they are able to make a run for the playoffs. Im LMAO because they aimed the title this year and Melo said we are one of the 4 best teams out there. Its going to be the second game of a back to back and they play Sacramento what won´t be easy. If we win this one we could get our first long winning streak and now with our new confidence we are favourites to win this game. Denver was 12-7 and is now 14-19? means they lost 12 of the last 14 and even the Clippers dominated in Denver. Lets hope we win it because it is very important to win games against playoff pretenders.

That should work to our advantage, but I think the Nugs will be ready to play us

They felt like they should have won the last game and that if they could keep Kobe to under 40 they can win

Maybe they'll leave DerMarr one on one on Kobe all game again and we'll pull this one out as well

Its our first game of a back to back that we aren´t good at. We play thursday Cleveland and I hope Kobe is schooling Bron and the BSPN is done for the night. It would be awefull if Lebron would dominate and they win. If i had to choose i would rather win the Cleveland game. Lets hope we can win this 2 games! :jam2:

Postby aoseymour on Tue Jan 11, 2005 12:03 pm

i know the lakers can win this game

but they need to continue to win games, and execute in the 4th quater
i think the trio of kobe, caron n odom need to find their glue
and once they do that and george and divac get healthy

we ga be unstoppable
we need to be hungry 4 each win

KEYS TO THE GAME

Image - Keep him from getting double-digit boards and don't let him have a big dunk to get the crowd in the game.

Image - Keep him from scoring in the 20's, again, keep him from getting the crowd into it.

Image - Keep him from double-digit rebounds and under 2 blocks.

Image - Keep him under 10 points, don't give him many fast breaks and keep him from throwing alley-oops.
