Just saw it on ESPNEWS!

How beautiful was that? I'm surprised Phil had them out on the floor, but wow, Walton made a HUGE play and Rush knocked down one of the hardest shots to make in the clutch...when you're wide open.

I'm a Lakers fan and all, but that was the biggest ripoff I've seen in a long time. Those referees should be fined for their outrageously bad performance. A win is a win I guess, but that was a bunch of b.s. It's a shame an otherwise great game had to end by the refs deciding the outcome :disagree: . If they couldn't see that the ball hit the rim, they shouldn't be driving on our roads either because they're blind as bats.

Luke Walton set that play up all the way. I am amazed right now with that play. He knew Rush was hot since he hit a big three for us moments before...

WOW. Kareem Rush? Robert Horry...? Nope... KAREEM RUSH BABY!

WHAT-A-RUSH

I agree-- if the Lakers didn't win the tip, it would have been a complete screwjob.

Final Stats

Kobe-35 points, 10 assists, & 7 rebounds, 14-26 from the field, 5-5 from the line, 2-4 from downtown, in 41 minutes
Shaq-16 points, 8 rebounds, 6-9 from the line, in 37 minutes
    Payton-14 points, 8 dimes, in 33 minutes
Slava-10 points, 5-8 from the field in 14 minutes
Russell-10 points, 2-4 from 3 point land, 4-8 from the field, in 15 minutes
Rush-8 points, 3-5 from the field (including the game winner :jam2: ), 2-2 from behind the 3 point line, in 15 minutes
    Fox-6 points, in 22 minutes
    Cook-4 points & 5 rebounds, in 14 minutes
    Fisher-4 points, in 15 minutes
    Grant-3 points, in 14 minutes
Luke-2 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists (including the game winning assist), in 16 minutes...impressive
George-0 points, 0-2 from the field, in 4 minutes

I think Phil is finally catching on that George sucks right now, he only played him for 4 minutes, and game Russell and Luke his minutes.
