agree with ya JSM 100%. We need to dominate, but rest our starters as much as possible.

We just need to guard the others around Melo. He will probably get his, but we need to stop the others. And yes, we do need to try to slow down Boykins. He kills the Lakers every time we play him. Even when he was with G.S. he still killed us.

Did You Know?

The Lakers next 10 out of 12 are back-to-backs.

Did You Know?

11 out of the last 14 are going to be at home with only 2 back-to-backs?

So it's not that bad considering our schedule favors us alot more in the LATE LATE season opposed to this late-middle part of the season.

I guaran-damn-tee Kobe will drop 40 tonight.

Try for 50. I think Kobe's going to set a career high in scoring tonight. I have a feeling (for obvious reasons).

Also, I have my school's basketball awards banquet tonight @ 6:30. So I might miss a big chunk of the game... :man5:

Kobe's career high was 56 points against the Grizzlies, and that was only in 3 quarters.

Yes, I know that. I was just predicting him to score 50+ tonight and set a career high in scoring. Lets go Kobe... Eat them up.

lol, ok. I don't want kobe to score a career high unless it's in the 65+ category...because if it was 60 or less, then it's not as remarkable as his 56 in 3 quarters even if it's a career high. Then again, don't care if he scores 2 points as long as we get the W.

sorry, I completely forgot this, but here is a short version of...
Image

Payton/Miller- Payton has been playing very well recently, and I don't think it will be any different tonight. He is faster than Miller and should be able to drive by him to the basket. He needs to shut down Miller, and do the same with Boykins when he is in there. Payton has to look to score, but more from the inside, he should be able to do better against Boykins, because Earl is so small, Payton can back him down ad push him around; but Payton will need to keep up with him, because this little guy is very fast and is the best thing the Nuggets have going for them coming off the bench. And please, Fisher don't let Boykins destroy you like he did last time, that was embarrassing.

Kobe/Lenard-this is funny. It doesn't matter who Kobe goes against tonight, he will be unstoppable. He is going to look to punish them, and he will play tight defense on Lenard, not allowing him to get a lot of 3's or any easy buckets.

Fox/Melo-Fox needs to have a big night defensively. Melo will be looking to score, but Fox should be able to stick with him and limit his shots. Expect Fox to do all the little things, and play good D. Expect Melo to get around 22 points.

Nene/Slava-Nene is a lot more powerful post player than Slava, and Slava's offensive game hasn't been all that great recently. I know Nene will have a better game than Slava, and probably prevent Slava from getting some rebounds. The only good new for Slava , Nene isn't a very big offensive threat, so defense won't be very crucial tonight, allowing Slava to focus most of his attention on offense.

Shaq/Camby-Camby is too thin and small to guard Shaq. Shaq will push him around and punish him on both ends of the floor. SHaq will have at least 25 and 10. Expect a lot of nice Kobe to Shaq connections. And expect nothing from Camby.
