Shaq-31 points, 16 rebounds, 7 assists, and 5 blocks

The dynamic duo is the key. Like I mentioned above... these two are playing unreal basketball with eachother. The passion is back in both of them. It's almost scary... Look at those numbers... WOW.

Another exciting game! The Lakers weren't great on D but Shaq shut down Dampier and made some HUGE blocks. Kobe also came up big as usual. Unfortunately, the refs made some bad calls that almost cost us the game, but that's why road games are tougher. A nice win, too bad GP got ejected, but so did Speedy, which was good because he was killing us. Finally we get one in Oakland! :jam2:

Kobe had a huge 3rd quarter. And he was 13-15 from the line, that some good shooting

Yes it is. He had 19 in the third. He was amazing...

Speaking of that third quarter, it seemed to NEVER END. Kobe was just... amazing in it though.

So we can stop all this Dampier outplays Shaq crap. He showed who was the man tonight. He may not have made the free throws but he still made the plays thats won the game. He got play of the game on the Warrior network for his block on Uncle Cliff.

Yeah, Shaq was great, and that block was the game-winner. I just wish he'd made more free throws, then it wouldn't have been so close, but Shaq and Kobe were da men. :jam2:

Kobe Bryant was unstoppable tonight, as was Shaq. I mean, those two were complamenting eachother in ways you couldn't imagine. The combo is back baby, with passion!

I'm happy they won but squeaking out wins over these crappy teams is a bit worrisome. If they can fix these, they'd be set:

Team defense - They are getting torched by wide open guards lately..
FTs - It's not just Shaq anymore
Slava- Bench him and let Walton play till Cook and/or Malone are ready. Where's Sampson anyways?

Shaq and Kobe are carrying this team. Also, it'd be nice if GP could stay in games. They missed his scoring contribution tonight. Then again, he took Speedy with him :man1:

Wow, check out this article on the Payton "fight". This is very inaccurate :disagree:

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -- Los Angeles Lakers guard Gary Payton and Golden State Warriors guard Speedy Claxton were ejected for fighting in the third quarter Wednesday night.

After Claxton was called for a foul while trying to make a steal, Payton elbowed him in the chest. Claxton angrily shoved away Payton's arm, and Payton wrapped his arms around Claxton while driving him into the scorers' table.

Coaches, teammates and officials intervened, with referee Tony Brothers tackling Payton to the floor.

Claxton had 18 points and four assists, soundly outplaying Payton before the ejections. Payton, an Oakland native, had family members in attendance who booed when the ejections were announced.

Appreantly he has become a "spot" player. Meaning he will only play if we absolutly need him (last resort) type of thing. I strongly disagree with it considering he's shooting tremendous %'s from beyond the arc... but hey, that's why I'm a 17 year old senior in high school and Phil's one of the greatest coaches of all time hehe...

That article is BS. Speedy tried to get the ball after the whistle and Gary took exception to that, but they just hugged each other and GP jawed at Speedy, that's it. The refs should have called T's and left it at that.

Interesting. The guy that does the Lakers interviews interviewed Claxton after the incident. He told Claxton it looked like Gary tried to bite him and Claxton told him that Gary did not try to bite him, but was just jarring words at him.

This will be interesting to see if the leauge does suspend. If they do, it will be yet another terrible suspension by the leauge. I really hope they don't. It wasn't that big of a deal really. Ejections were not needed. Double T's would have been fine... :disagree:

No he didn't. If GP gets suspended, that will be a great injustice and the league will have messed up once again. They didn't :boxing1:
