Well, time to start up another winning streak and go for 3 in a row.

If Cassell returns, I expect him to burn Chucky.

My instinct says if the Raptors can beat them playing team ball, we can do the same. But based on tonight's game, that theory would be proven wrong. :man5:

So, I don't know. Kandi will miss the game, meaning Mihm can have a big game, if he can stay out of foul trouble.

Also, if Cassell comes back, Atkins will get killed by at least 20-25 points. If Hudson is on him, he gets outscored by at least 10. So, either way Chucky is going to get killed.

Well, here's how my Raptors beat the T-Wolves today. :man1:

1. Great ball movement, especially in the first half
2. Had better shot selection, especially down the stretch.
3. Chris Bosh was aggressive and got to the line today. (5-8)
4. Rafer Alston broke down the defense and knew where his teammates are, passed 'em the ball for a wide open jumpshot.
5. Hit big 3-pointers down the stretch (from Donyell Marshall).

If the Lakers can do those things, then they should beat the T-Wolves. Odom should be aggressive and take it to KG. Get him into foul trouble like Bosh did. But I'm not counting on Chucky breaking down the defense any day soon and kicking it to the open man. Also, Brian Cook is no Donyell Marshall.

Of course, there's also the case that Mitchell always stuck to players that works for him. Rudy T seems to be in love with 3 point bombers in the lineup down the stretch, despite of horrible shooting performances. I wish the Lakers can have a coach Mitchell. :man6:

If he actually plays in the 4th quarter, yeah. Otherwise, it's the same old broken record for Mihm.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

Mihm is the key...if Rudy remembers him in the 4th. :disagree:

Bench Tierre. The guy absolutely lost it in the 4th in the Jazz game. He kept on jacking shot after shot when the Lakers was still leading.

Bench Chucky too. We don't need Mini-Antoine Walker out there jacking up 3 point shots when its not needed.

Tierre? I'm pretty sure it was Atkins who played like [Swearing is not permitted at Clublakers. You must edit this post prior to submitting.] in the 4th. Tierre did pretty well down the stretch, just had the miscommunication late.

In my opinion Tierre was having one of the best games of the season until he made 2 crucial mistakes in the closing minutes that cost us 6 points and the game.

Why we will lose:

Remember last game when Odom got shut down by Garnett offensively AND defensively? Well the only reason we won that game was because we hit 16 3's and they fell. Not to mention Kobe played wel..

Well now that our #1 option is out, and our #2 option will get shutdown....What do we have?

can anyone explain this fascination with bobbit and vulacic? it seems to me that they're both bums who can barely get time on the 6th best team in the west. chucky, on the other hand, is a career 10 ppg man and a savvy vet. granted, he gets beat now and then, but i think anyone is an upgrade over The Mitten. i could look back on this in 5 years and be completely wrong, but i see bobbit and vulacic as being one bad break away from working at mcdonalds.

Sasha was pretty imrpessive during the summer league and we was in need of a good backup PG ( so we figure Sasha can do the work.Bobbit was also impressive during the pre-season for our team. I guess you can say he has other things Sasha didn't have yet.

chucky, on the other hand, is a career 10 ppg man and a savvy vet. granted, he gets beat now and then, but i think anyone is an upgrade over The Mitten.

He is in no way shape or form better than GP. Remember Gary wanted to play for us to prove to the Laker organization how much value he really was. Mitch made a mistake getting rid of him along with Fisher. He should of told Derek about the sign & trade and let Fisher be the starter while Atkins comes off the bench but instead he screwed up :bang:

We could really use GP now as we speak because he is a way better defender than Atkins and actually does look to pass compared to Chucky.

Payton would be infinitely better than our situation right now at the point. Imagine GP getting 35-38 minutes per game. In 33 he's shooting 47%, 12.5 points, 2.9 boards, 6.2 assists. That's exactly what a PG ought to do. Sure, he's a step slower but both on O and D, he's superior to Chucky.

Vujacic is going to be a pretty good PG, I think. I can totally see him being the kind of PG who goes for 12, 6, 6 with his big frame.
