With the series shifting back to L.A., I feel the Lakers will take the next two and head into game five with a chance to advance to the finals...

They did everything in direct opposition in game two than what they did in game one. If they double Garnett, the series is over.

Outright battle on Game 3: I think it would be low scoring and a tight game first half followed by the Lakers getting by.

The double team on Garnett should come faster and more often :mad1:

Dynasty is right. More doubleteaming of Garnett is needed.

Laker win (in a close game) :jam2:

It will be close in the 1st half. But the Lakers will put it away in the 3rd. We will be pumped and Shaq will go off for god knows how many points. Now, as for Game 4, that will be tight all throughout, especailly since Kobe will be late.

After the dismal performance by the Lakers in Game 2, I expect them to come out strong and blow out the T-Wolves. Shaq will dominate and hit his free throws, Kobe will be competitive as usual, GP will do much better, and Karl will be pumped after getting ejected from the last game. I anticipate the final score to be like the Game 3 against the Spurs (105-81) or the final regular-season game against the T-Wolves at Staples (90-73). :jam2:

Expect a full out Shaq Attack in Game 3. Shaq should have his biggest game of the playoffs.

Lakers by 16.

Alien planning to play
ESPN wrote:MINNEAPOLIS -- Sam Cassell returned to the court for practice Monday, and the Timberwolves' point guard said again that he doesn't plan to let his bad back keep him out of Game 3 of the Western Conference finals.

2003-2004 SEASON STATISTICS
GM PPG RPG APG FG% FT%

In too much pain to play the fourth quarter of Game 1 against the Lakers, Cassell started Sunday's Game 2 -- but lasted only 43 seconds before hobbling off. Minnesota beat Los Angeles 89-71 to even the series at one game apiece.

"I felt a little better," Cassell said Monday as he left Target Center before the Timberwolves left for California.

"I'm still not where I want to be at," he said. "It's tough, man. I just want to have a little confidence in my body."

With only one day between games, there's not much chance for rest in this round. So the Wolves now consider any contribution from their All-Star a bonus.

"We have to play right now," teammate Latrell Sprewell said. "If he can give us something, that's great."

Let him play, so he knows what it's like to get blown out in Game 3.

By the way, there's a rumor that Malone got fined for that hit on Martin. Even more reason for our team to blow the T-Pups out.

Malone did get fined, $7,200 or somewhere around there.

Also, If Cassell plays, it will only slow down the team. I don't think he's in shape to play, and if he is, not to his full capabilities.

Malone will be pumped for this game :jam2:, and I also think Sam will hurt his team. Martin's not the scorer Sam is but he's healthy and the Lakers will have to do a better job of guarding him (along with KG and the rest of the T-Wolves, of course), especially if Sam can't play. :man7:

As everybody say,we will back to Minny with 3-1 lead the Puppies, but I truly hope Lakers can focus on every game, especially Game 3 and 4,it is our home court,we must defend our home court, and do not give them a chance!!I also hope it will be a blow out!!

First off, Hey everyone.. i'm new to this forum, should be fun posting here! :jam2:
Lakers *should* win this easy. They need to come out with the same aggression they did in game 1.

Does anyone know if this will be on any of the streaming links, as im in the uk :)

Thanks

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."
