Do u's know anything about bit torrent?

Hi guys, I have found a website where u can supposedly download full nba games through bit torrent. But Im not sure how to do it. I downloaded the bit torrent program, but when I try to download the files, they have errors. Here Ill post the links for u's to try if u want:

Please try this out for urselves, I just need to know if it is possible, cause I will be downloading whole games daily, mainly toronto games though.

Well those files don't seem right-- they're only 26 kb and stuff...

I've never heard what "bit torrent" is... could you explain if you know?

Yeah thats the thing I don't know that much about it. I think its some kind of peer to peer sharing thingy. I went to www.downloads.com and downloaded the bit torrent program, and the file started to try and download through the program, the whole 674Mb's. But it said that I was rejected by the peers or something. I think it is because Im not shring anything with them on their peer to peer thingy., not sure though, I was hopeing someone here would know more then that?

Hmmm... Here's some possibilities of what went wrong:

1) As you said you could have been rejected by your peers. This is a file-sharing program right? It's very possilble their servers weren't stable and/or they didn't want you to be getting their files.

2) I have no idea why the file extention is ".torrent". That could possibly have to do with the problem.

3) As you said, you may need to be sharing your files. The program may require you to do so in order to download from other people.

4) Those particular files were corrupt. They only came up as being 26kb for me when I tried to get them regularly. Then again that could be because I wasn't using bit torrent.

This sounds like a good program, but some of the stuff just doesn't make sense...

Hi, where have you found those Bittorent Links? I'm looking for a websiet where I can found NBA videos through Bittorent and I don't succeed.

It's very simple, you have to install a bittorent client (ABC, Azareus,...) and after you only have to click on links and wait the end of the DL.

you will maybe have an error message : "problem connecting to trakers"
It's nothing, pass over it.

I have DL these 2 vids in about 10hours !!!

yo!
i got a prob when i try to dl one of the game....
it says : "ERROR 12:20 PM
Problem connecting to tracker-(10061.Connection refused)"
Could someone help me plz and explain me what to do to dl some more nba games?

Yeah, KB8 fan u said that u can just bypass the error message of "problem connecting to tracker", how do u do this? The bittorrent program that i installed does not allow me to bypass this option, it only leaves cancell as an option, could u please give me the link to the bittorent program that u installed please?!

Ok, I got the ABC bit torrent client now, and I still can't by pass the error message, how did u do this u smart thing u? Damn, I want to see if these things can work on my computer so badly, by the way i was the person who posted these links to start with, so u can imagine how desperate i am now that u said it is possible to get the files.

To bypass the error message, leave your bittorent windows open and WAIT. When you see an error message that means that there is a block of bytes which have not been sended correctly and they've been resended, so don't panic.

Just simply go to the http://bt.ydy88.com website and a list will appear of different types of links. They are in chinese so it can be confusing, just look for keywords such as NBA or HOU,LAL,NJN or any of the nba teams.
You will need to browse through the different pages (the numbers down the bottom) as the site is updated regularly with all sorts of files.
Yeah thats about it.

P.S do u have cable modem, cause i only have a 56k modem and its kinda a waste of time for me, it takes forever to get 400Mb files and above. Anyways just chack the site out.

Hey if anyone else manages to download any games through this wesbite, could u please try to post them on a server where I can download them. Because at the moment through the bit torrent clients, it takes too long for me to download as I am using a 56k modem only.

So could someone please be a pal, and post just one game even.

It's a "many peer to many peer" way of downloading.
you are uploading the downloaded part of the file when you are downloading

so more people,more power,it will became faster and faster
and it's popular in China

i download @ 300-500k/sec
maybe the file you are download had put a long time,so there is no or a few seed

more people,more speed

If anyone from YDY88 is reading this - could you guys seed the missing 0.9% of Lakers-Raptors game? It seems that there is only 99.1% available and my BT client cannot complete the file.

Please share these... I keep my completed files in share for weeks and will keep until I run out of HDD space. People still download from me, even though my UL/DL ratio way exceeds 100%.
