I tried to find any reason as to why those weren't fouls, but all I could come up with is that if that was Durant/Lebron/Harden/Westbrook/Wade, those would have been easy calls every time.

Kobe went up for a layup on basically a straight one step vertical motion coming in at the side of the hoop and landed out of bounds...

That's really not physically possible unless something pushed him there.....
