Lamar Odom beasts at Cleveland (28+17) (2009)

The triple double vs Chris Webber (a injured Chris Webber though) might have been good, but this actually might be Lamar Odom's career game. Lamar scores 28 points and grabs 17 rebounds while Kobe is struggling with the flu to help the Lakers defeat Cavs, who had not lost at home that season. The 15 points and 10 rebounds in the 3rd quarter changed the whole game. One of my favorite performances by Lamar. February 8, 2009.



Not my usual type of upload (check out my channel if you like 80s and 90s NBA), but I had to make this one day.

^Thanks. We beat the Cavs (who had the best record in the East) after defeating THOSE GUYS to finish a 6-0 road trip back then. LO had a monster game and showed a lot of emotion.

^ Yeah I remember that after we beat Cleveland and Boston on the road during that trip (without Bynum), there was no doubt in my mind that we were going to win it all that year.

LO played huge in both of those games and I think it was the turning point in that season. That road trip gave the squad a huge sense of confidence.
