what are some programs that are cheap, easy and good/decent for editing videos..something good for a beginner...

Sonic Foundry Video Factory

It's great and I still use it today.

Then once you're serious, move on to Adobe Premiere.

Premiere is awesome... it takes some time to learn all the stuff it can do though... I am starting to use iMovie for this class project im working on... good program as well

I use iMovie which is awesome. The only thing is though, the iMac, which is next to this (the PC) isn't connected to the net. So I can't download new transitions and effects. I really want to.

I'm thinking about moving up to final cut pro which is like the top of the link editing program, it's what all the pro's use.

is windows movie maker decent...cuz its on my comp already...and im just a beginer..so is that good to start wid?

Yo man Final Cut Pro is the ish. I'm taking a media course for school and we get to use it to edit our projects. It's so much easier to use than all these other programs, but its too damn expensive and only for the Mac...

Final Cut is the program that you see on T.V. Almost 95% of the video editing / creating comes from this program...

It's complicated. I don't know If I wanna move into it quite yet. iMovie is awesome for me!
