As much as I don't see Coby joining the Lakers team this year, I knew Heath would be let go first since Coby does have experience with the Lakers already. Heath has shown not much skills for this team especially most of the time carelessly handling the ball and always puts the team into a conflict with the 24 sec shot clock.. Heath either dribbles too much or doesn't know how to pass it in time to make plays.. good luck though Heath..

But Karl makes the same mistakes AND he's been around longer. I just think that Phil's obsession with being anti- rookie clouds his judgment sometimes... Not saying the kid had too much of a chance, but he's still better than Karl and should have been cut either after or with him.

you're right, but you have to keep in mind that Coby Karl was on this team last year.. you think the Lakers would cut him before any of the new guys? NO.. if he's going to be cut, he will be the last player to cut..

Coby Karl has played a total of 68 mins as an NBA basketball player. I'm not saying I'm a Coby Karl fan necessarily -- but I'm not sure how you can make conclusions about any player in the NBA after their first 68 minutes of play.
