Eh, you never know. Duncan is still a stud, Parker is Parker, if Ginobili is healthy he's a huge x-factor, and Jefferson is a damn solid fourth option. With the right role players and if they're hot they can beat anyone.

I don't SEE it happening, but you never know.

I'm super interested in what the Spurs do with their back up 4 and 5 slots.

Out side of Duncan they have.. Bonner and Gooden?

Pretty sure Gooden is a FA.

Definetly going to be addressed.

LMAO at Stuart Scott.

It's not a done deal Clippers take Griffin. The Lakers could offer Kobe Bryant and Sasha Vujacic and the Clippers might bite since that Sasha Vujacic is such a great player.

Adrian Wojnarowski (Yahoo):

The Boston Celtics had aggressively pursued the No. 2 pick in the draft, league sources said, but backed away and apparently will no longer try to get the Memphis Grizzlies’ pick. They had intended to select Memphis guard Tyreke Evans.

Privately, Memphis officials are telling people that they’re determined to mine the best offer to move the second pick, but should they keep it, they will choose Connecticut center Hasheem Thabeet. The Celtics had discussed packages that would bring back the second pick and center Darko Milicic for a proposal including Kendrick Perkins, Brian Scalabrine and Tony Allen.

Givony:

7:40

Rubio's camp doesn't think they are going 3, and Harden's camp has no idea either. Sam Presti does an amazing job at keeping everyone in the dark. This draft seemed a lot more clear 40 minutes ago when Rubio was going 3rd. Everyone in the Green Room is scrambling to figure out what is going on.

this is one of the worst drafts i've seen in a while.

how is flynn going to be a top 10 player? in most other drafts, he'd have stayed in school or gone in the 2nd

Thabeet/Gasol frontcourt. Not bad.

And Stern, bit late to be going through puberty? Why's your voice cracking?

I think Thabeet will be better than Oden.

According to some reports, he might be top 5.

I don't think it's a horrible draft. There will be a lot of good role players, a handful of starting PGs, and a few studs.

He'll probably play in more games. If they both develop, Thabeet will be a better weakside defender with Oden being a better anchor and man-man defender. But we'll see. Bigs are projects.
