Alexander Johnson anyone?

Alexander Johnson anyone?

Anyone else think this guy could be a sleeper in this draft? I think we could trade up to the mid first round and snag him. Hornets at 15 and the Bulls at 16 would both be picks at about the right level.

I like Mihm + 26th for Duhon and the 16th. Draft Johnson.

Not a sleeper anymore. His workouts have been stellar and he may go top 20.

I am really loving this guy. He reminds me a bit of Chris Bosh except with more strength. I would like to see some clips of him playing some defense, but, as it stands now, if we can grab that 16th pick and be lucky enough to have the oppurtunity to pick him, that would be great. Can always use athletic big men.

I wished he woudlve gone under the radar, wouldve made a very tough front court with Kwame, Bynum and Turiaf. Wouldnt suprise me at all if he goes 15 to NO though.

Yeah, he was once a sleeper but now he's been discovered. Uber-athletic big man with some polish to his offensive game and decent touch as well. He also possesses a good NBA body as well. Honestly, I have been watching some FSU games this season and he impressed me somewhat with his athleticism and offensive abilities--he really stepped it up towards the end of the season because he's really been underachieving most of his FSU career. However, now he's in the radar and scouts are absolutely in love with him--I'd expect a top 20 pick for him, 25th at the latest.

I think he's going to be a very good big man, but we'd have to move up considerably to be able to take him.

this would be a good pick for us at 26th because hes 23 years old and ready to step in immediately for us at pf. with the scouting reports ive seen, hes the kind of pf that the lakers need: all-around (good overall scorer and shooter, athletic, quick, strong, shotblocker, rebounder). he'll be avaliable at 26 for us because most mock drafts have him in the 2nd round. most teams need centers or pgs.

By most, you mean NBA Draft.net

I'm not sure what they have doing their mock draft, but it has more errors than I can count.

Alex won't be on the clock past 21 and that is if everything else fails. Personally, I think he'll be gone by 16 at the latest. He and Simmons will be snatched up in the teens.

That's why I'm thinking Mihm and the 26th for Duhon and the 16th. That should get us into position to draft him.

We sign Banks with the MLE and our pg situation is set with Banks and Duhon.
