Beaubois confident he'll go to Blazers, OKC, Lakers, or Cavs

Jonathan Givony of Draft Express wrote:-A couple of teams are wondering where in the world is Rodrigue Beaubois, and why hasn’t he conducted even a single workout after the Eurocamp in Treviso? The answer is that Beaubois was supposedly just cleared to play last Friday, and after a few weeks on the shelf, his agent Bouna Ndiaye decided not to risk the excellent momentum he has going for him with some bad workouts. Beaubois supposedly feels good about where he stands with a number of teams in the late first round, including Portland, Oklahoma City, the Lakers and Cleveland.

Yahoo's mock draft has him going to us with our first rounder.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

BEST VIDEO EVER ... AND AND THE SECOND BEST.

Beaubois wouldn't be a terrible way to spend our 1st round pick, but personally I'd prefer if Mitch used it on Calathes.

My preference is assuming all 3 are there:
1. Jerebko
2. Calathes
3. Beaubois
I will be happy if they get any of the 3. I too like Nick over Rodrique, but as I said I will gladly take any of the 3. Rather do that then sell the pick. I would keep 42 and take Ingles if I don't get Jerebko in first.

^ I agree, I'm hoping we use the pick and stash it vs. just moving it for a future pick or cash. As far as the ranking, I'd put Calathes at #1 just for the mere fact that the point has more uncertainty for us down the road than the wing. Wouldn't mind any of them though.

I'd also be interested in Casspi if he's still around, but he'll probably go in the early 20s. Teams are ranting and raving about his toughness, he's the toughest kid in the draft. Can never have enough toughness.
