Caron1 Mock Draft

Caron1 Mock Draft

Postby Da Veinticuatro on Sat Apr 15, 2006 5:14 am

This is my early mock draft, I tried to take team-need into consideration but its almost impossible without knowing the real order. This should give you a good idea (along with rydjorker121's excellent mock) about some of the 1st round talent and how it may shape up. Enjoy.

1. Chicago Bulls -- Tyrus Thomas
(From New York)

2. Charlotte Bobcats -- Rudy Gay

3. Portland Trailblazers -- Adam Morrison

4. Atlanta Hawks -- LaMarcus Aldridge

5. Toronto Raptors -- Andrea Bargnani

6. Golden State Warriors -- Rodney Carney

7. Seattle Sonics -- Shelden Williams

8. Boston Celtics -- Brandon Roy

9. Minnesota Timberwolves -- Randy Foye

10. Orlando Magic -- Patrick O'Bryant

11. Houston Rockets -- Hilton Armstrong

12. Chicago Bulls -- Ronnie Brewer

13. New Orleans Hornets -- Josh McRoberts

14. Utah Jazz -- JJ Reddick

15. Philadelphia 76ers -- Marcus Williams

16. Indiana Pacers -- Rajon Rondo

17. Sacramento Kings -- Cedric Simmons

18. New Orleans Hornets -- Al Horford
(From Milwaukee)

19. Phoenix Suns -- Saer Sene
(From L.A. Lakers via Boston via Atlanta)

20. Washington Wizards -- Richard Roby

21. New York Knicks -- Josh Boone
(From Denver via New Jersey via Toronto)

22. Memphis Grizzlies -- Maurice Ager

23. New Jersey Nets -- Kevin Pittsnogle

I'd make these changes (to the lottery):

1. Chicago Bulls -- LaMarcus Aldridge
3. Portland Trailblazers -- Tyrus Thomas
4. Atlanta Hawks -- Patrick O'Bryant
5. Toronto Raptors -- Randy Foye
6. Golden State Warriors -- Saer Sene
8. Boston Celtics -- Adam Morrison
9. Minnesota Timberwolves -- Rajon Rondo
10. Orlando Magic -- Rodney Carney

I like JJ going to Mormonville, nice touch.

I think it is pretty acurate, but I don't think that both Novak and Pittsongle will slip into the first round. Also, I think 26 is a little low for Mardy Collins.

I think you're right on about Rondo. He will go to the T-Wolves unless Atlanta trades down to take him eighth.
