Danny Ainge Doesn't Anticipate Draft Night Deals

Celtics president Danny Ainge doesn't expect to make any trades during Thursday night's NBA Draft.

"We have nothing close to happening," Ainge told the Boston Globe. "I would guess that there would not be anything [on draft night]. We like the free agent market of veteran players much more than we like the draft."

Ainge also commented on a number of wild trade rumors that have included guards Rajon Rondo and Ray Allen.

"I just assume all of them are jokes when I read some of the junk out there and some of the things involving us that seem invented out of the blue sky," he said.

Ainge is steadlily going Cleveland's route of applying 1-2 year veteran band aids.

It's amazing to see how quickly Boston is beginning to decline after seeing how the Celts were built overnight to win their latest championship last year.
