Lakers workout their first player...a center

I had a chance to watch China vs Korea pro all-star games. Most centers can shoot 3 pointers, because centers in Asia are dominated by the foreigners, who lost their chances in NBA and such. So natural centers in their leagues are bit forced to come out to the perimeter.

Height wise, I think it's becoming similar to NBA, but not condition wise.

I watch some Korean pro balls, I found that there is high school junior guy who is considered top 100 high school student in US.. he sounds good. There is Bang Sung Yoon, who was playing in NBDL, and was at Detroit camp last summer. He is a flashy shooter.

Kim Seung Hyun is good too. Bit short, but one of the top point guard in Korea. Only problem for him would be the defense because he's small.

Agreed, and having a potential very good shotblocking Center is more of a need than a playmaking PG, especially in the triangle.

I'd be all for trading up to get Williams, but it'd probably cost us Mihm, and without him as a trading piece, we're likely going to have Luke starting at SF.

That might be the most un-athletic, uncoordinated human I have ever seen. And the music they chose to play with those low lights just makes it creepy.

Hahah that movie was hilarious, the song just completes the whole thing...he does look pretty stiff out there, and if he did make it into the NBA, it would be more as a novelty act i think

I have heard that the Chinese Government makes certain persons marry and bear children in order to produce these very large Chinese men. That is the story with Yao Ming's parents, who were matched together by their government. The NBA is aware of it too. Also, there are more very tall chinese basketball players in the near future at every position.
