What an idiotic move! Why did he have to go and broadcast his plans to the
world? That probably cost us the possibility of trading the pick for more than
just cash. We could've gotten another one of our annual 2nd round pick additions.

Real easy to rip someone else for saving $3 million, but if it was your money you wouldn't call it idiotic. They got 3 million and a second round pick for NO. 29 pick, what did you want David Lee?

and im sure had it been leaked out to anyone, the trade would not have gone down.
popovich's committee would never have let that happen.

Nice avatar...too bad we got sodomized in that deal Caron for Kwame.
I'm glad he was secretive about the Gasol trade. He needs to always be
that way. Jerry West NEVER made his intentions known.

They got 3 million and a second round pick. What did you expect them to get? The $3 million is the most money possible per rules. What difference does it make if it he announced it or not? The fact he announced it may have gotten LA more. Yesterday it was reported they expected to get about 1 million or so for the pick. The fact he announced it may have gotten Denver and NY in a bidding war.
