Leigh Enobakhare Entering 2006 Draft

Leigh Enobakhare Entering 2006 Draft

Postby JSM on Wed Apr 12, 2006 7:34 am

Draft Express: A source in Europe informed DraftExpress today that 6-10 Nigerian big man Leigh Enobakhare will be entering his name in the 2006 NBA Draft. His agent in states Ugo Udezue of Bill Duffy’s BDA Sports Management confirmed that early this afternoon.

Listed at 20 years old, Enobakhare plays limited minutes for a very strong Oostende team in Belgium, averaging only 1.3 points and 1.8 rebounds in under 5 minutes per game. His main attraction as an NBA prospect is his terrific NBA body and athleticism along with the fact that he has a reported 7-7 wingspan. He is considered a defensive specialist who can rebound and block shots with the best of them, but is extremely limited on the offensive end and lacking serious polish and game time experience.

Well, I'm a ticket holder for Oostende.
My opinion on him --> HE SUCKS! :mhihi:

He is only playing basketball for 6 months or so now, he doesn't play many games or many minutes. He can rebound the ball but block the ball :nono2:

(Oostende is playing Pepinster tonight, so against Saer Sene, follow game live @ http://www.basketleague.be/ 11AM - 19GMT)

honestly from reading that, if he has some potential, they wouldn't play him 2 minutes per game, and they would develop him. he just sounds like he wants to make some money in the US. also, players from europe play such a different game than here in the US, we wouldn't really have any time to develop him, referring to kobe's prime wearing away

I think he's not worth it, DJ Mbenga is much better on defense, he also played in Belgium, for Charleroi, he's now with Dallas. And I've heard that Dallas doesn't have a spot for him in their team!

I think there isn't any chances that he will get drafted by NBA team...
