What would you guys think if we took him with miami's pick?

He seems like he could be a pretty good fit for the triangle. Also knowing Phil Jackson he might want a player like this.

"Smart player, makes great decisions ... Extremely effective offfensive player ... Tremendous shooter, one of the top three point shooters in the country ... Has range and great form on his shot ... Quick release"

"Doesn't over dribble, good ball handler ... Uses the dribble and ball fakes well to set up his jump shot ... Has good vision and passing ability ... Sound defender, plays smart defense, doesn't gamble"

His weaknesses are mostly focused on lack of great athleticism, and his age (24).

Sure. He could be one of those energy players we can bring off the bench, but he's gonna thrive more on a team like Phoenix, Miami or the Spurs. He's not as athetic as a JJ Redick and too short to play the SG position, which he is naturally. Wouldn't really fit on our team.

He is more athletic than J.J. Redick, just as tall, has longer arms, and is a better defensive player. Don't sleep on Mike Gansey.

I watched a couple of games of WVU this year, and I like the balance, poise, and general aura surrounding Gansey's game. However, that being said, it seems that he's acclimated himself into WVU's system quite well and I don't know how he would fare in a faster-paced NBA system. Most of Gansey's deficiencies are covered up by the system he plays in, but there's no doubting his heart, shooting ability, and intangibles. He also has the savvy to get steals, even against Jordan Farmar in the clutch. However, he's a bit undersized, lacks true PG skills, athleticism, speed, etc. That being said, however, he is a mid-2nd round pick or even early with good workouts.

he's like the new luke walton
smart college ball player, but not athletic enough to be a real starter.

he can shoot, has some athleticism...but i feel he'll be overmatched in the NBA. We need a guard, so Hasaan Adams if hes there, but don't think he will be. Who else could be availble at our spot? Allan Ray?
