Boston drafts MarShon Brooks.

ESPN cuts to a sign that reads "MarShon Brooks = Next Kobe Bryant"

I'm sure Celtics fans loved that. :man10:

^^ Ah I was about to say I officially don't like MarShon Brooks, but it seems he's cool with me now.

This kid, Brooks, looks a lot like a young Kobe. The jumper the dunk everything.....

I was thinking the same exact thing. It was weird because the motions and the way he moved with the ball looked like Kobe.

If you have a minute, check out this thread:

nba-2009-draft/second-round-draft-pics-any-winners-t130208.html

trodgers gathered some info on some guys sites have us taking. I threw out a few names I liked and jotted down a few notes about them. Might give you a quick catchup on what some of our options are.

My ideal pick would be Jenkins. I think he's gone before we're on the clock though. Two guys I like within our range (in order) -- Isaiah Thomas and Andrew Goudelock.

Ok so whoever JaJuan Johnson is, I don't like him.

He's going to be a Celtic as part of that trade.

That's all it took to get Rudy? Seems cheap....and how many shooter does Dallas have now...

Wow, Dallas making a move for Moody. DeShawn and Caron may be up for grabs assuming the Mavs re-up with Barea as well seeing as how Terry is still on the books for another year and Marion isn't going anywhere.

With every single team right now trying to focus on defense, defense, defense, the Mavs are outmaneuvering us all by adding lights-out shooters. You can only be so good of a defensive team before your offense sputters. Law of diminishing returns might bite everyone in the butt.
