wow im shocked we didn't draft Shelby,
most 2nd round picks don't pan out anyways,
why not take a chance at a 6'3 pg with a 43 inch vertical and a all-american game
he's younger than most anyway, no risk high reward

there's teams who routinely succeed in the 2nd round (ie. spurs)
i don't see why we shouldn't hold ourselves to those same standards.

Deron Williams - “I hate ’em, you know,” he said the other day. “I hate the Lakers. They’re so good. I hate them because they win all the time. They’re a tough team. … We definitely talk about it. It’s not a secret. We hate the Lakers.”

This draft is generally considered lottery weak, but not weak in terms of depth. I feel like Morris was a steal, I saw him going to Houston at 16 in a draftexpress mock probably 2 weeks ago.

if you don't try in the 2nd round, you won't get much out of it. it's more than just dumb luck and picking names out of a hat.

spurs 2nd rounders
manu
scola
dragic
blair

late 1st rounders
parker
barbosa
salmons
udrih
hill
splitter

they do their homework.

Agree. Not many all-stars, maybe no superstars. But I think there are a lot of guys who will be in the NBA on someone's roster for a very long time. A lot of good role players and not a whole lot separating some of the mid 1st round role players to mid 2nd round role players.

So Goudelock is basically Gary Neal? Hard to argue with that.

Good pickup for the Magic with Liggins. Won't really matter much to Dwight, but like the pick.

Cavs picked Macvan. I mentioned him in another thread. Not athletic, but dude can SCORE in the paint. Post up, mid-range shot.

Based on who's dropped already, looks like a camp invite at this point. And if that's the case, I bet we bring him in.
