RealGM - Duke senior J.J. Redick failed a physical at the NBA pre-draft camp in Orlando and will be out for an extended period with a back problem that may require surgery, according to a source with close NBA contacts.

Wow what a day for this guy..

JJ= Overrated, late 1st round or early 2nd rounder. He's another Jason Kapono or Trajden Langden.

redick shouldnt b a lottery pick in the first place. all he does is shoot and hes undersized to play the 2. no D, not strong, quick, or athletic enough to compete. hes gonna be another sasha vujaic with a bit more consistent shot and less stupid fouls. in my mock draft, he falls all the way to the suns at 21. would fit perfectly

Could there be much worse timing for all this info to come out about JJ? First the arrest, then the fact that he has a back problem, this will make teams shy away from him. The only question is, how far will he drop?

You never know, the adversity may be the motivating factor in his improving. Some players need that chip on their shoulder to really bring out the best in them.
