The only ones I like are Blalock and Powe, but I think Laker fans are setting themselves up if we think Mitch is capable of a semi-competant draft.

milsap's pretty good too. i think we'll end up with one of the three, powe, milsap, or blalock. i've seem some draft boards with blalock in the second. the only thing he's good at is running offense and passing.

Millsap, Powe, and Fazekas are who I want. A big who can come in and contribute immediately. The last thing we need is another project.

Out of those, the only I'd take in the first round is Thabo. I like Powe, but no way in hell would I want to take him with a 1st round pick.

to have a great rebounder in there would be nice, but isnt he kinda redundant with turiaf already here

why not shawne willaims who has upside written all over him or hassan adams, saer sene, rajon rondo, maurice ager, etc

Dont follow college ball that much but why is Millsap so low on draft charts? Every profile I read of him, sounds like a poor-mans Elton Brand. Undersized, bulky, long wingspan, atheltic, nice leaping ability, tremendous rebounder, can blocks shots...whats the deal on him?

Sefolosha does sound like an interesting possibility. He needs to bulk up a little bit, but most players fresh into the league need that. His physical, in-your-face defense on 1-3 fascinates me the most. I'd like to see some footage of this guy.

I agree. The other guys don't seem to fit what we're looking for. Maybe possible second-rounders.

I like Powe but if there was anyway that Rajon Rondo fell to us I would be very happy I think he would be a great tri fit and most importantly great PG defender for years to come.

Because I like what I've read about Thabo Sefolosha (6-7, 200, just turned 22), here are some more articles, with the nice bits included below:

2004/05 he averaged 9.6 ppg, 6.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, shot 55% from the floor, 32% from the arc, 67% on FTs.

Tell me a little bit about your game. How would you describe yourself as a player?

TS: An all-around player. I can rebound, run the court, play defense. I can score, too. I can say I do a little bit of everything.

Do you take more pride on your defense or your offense?

TS: I think that my main strength so far is my defense. That's what first got me time on the court in France. But I can score, too.

I like that he thinks so much of his defensive ability. We need that.

Draft Profile
Strengths: Nice all-around player... Pretty athletic... Superb defender on the ball.
Weaknesses: Outside shot needs work... Has not faced much serious competition till this season.
Season highs: 26 points vs. Livorno and 15 rebounds and six assists vs. Benetton Treviso.

Diaz could probably play PG in the triangle.

When I first read about Sefolosha, the first thing that popped in my mind was Andres Nocioni. Thabo seems to be a little more athletic.
